Hey class,
I ran across this video that basically talks about american consumerism and how it effect the environment and people. A lot of it seems a bit pessimistic and exaggerated but the overall message seems good and on point. While watching this I kind of felt angry and offended how she spoke about the way I live my life and my standard of living, but I thought about it and realized that much of my life revolves around consumerism and wastefulness. I also got the feeling of hopelessness while watching it and then realized that there is still room for improvement in various areas of sustainability for product lifecycles.
